Accessing Single Link Analytics
When editing an existing link, you’ll see the analytics overview at the top of the page displaying key metrics in a horizontal scrollable bar.Analytics only appear for existing links, not during link creation.
Key Metrics Display
The analytics bar shows six essential metrics:- Sessions - Visitor sessions to this specific link
- Page Views - Total page views (uses sessions data)
- Orders - Orders completed through this link
- Sales - Revenue generated from this link
- Conversion Rate - Percentage of sessions that converted
- AOV - Average order value for this link
Time Period Filtering
Use the calendar selector to view metrics across different timeframes:1
Select time period
Click the calendar button (first item in the analytics bar) to open the time period selector.

Choose timeframe
Select from three options:
- Today - Current day metrics only
- Last 7 days - Weekly performance overview
- Last 30 days - Monthly trends (default)

View updated metrics
All numbers and sparklines update instantly without page reload.
Interactive Navigation
Horizontal Scrolling
- Mouse/trackpad - Scroll horizontally through the metrics
- Touch devices - Swipe left and right to navigate
Hover Navigation
- Hover the analytics area - Left and right arrow buttons appear
- Click arrows - Navigate one metric at a time (185px scroll distance)
Navigation controls only appear when hovering over the analytics area to maintain a clean interface.
Sparkline Trend Analysis
Each metric displays a sparkline showing:- Data points - One point per day for the selected timeframe
- Activity patterns - Visual representation of performance over time
- Missing data - Automatically filled with zeros for consistent visualization
Understanding the Data
Sessions vs Page Views
- Both show the same data (sessions) as Shopify doesn’t provide separate page view metrics for links
- Useful for understanding traffic volume patterns
Conversion Metrics
- Conversion Rate - Calculated from orders divided by sessions
- AOV - Calculated from total sales divided by number of orders
- Real-time calculation - Updates based on the selected time period
